You need to see a doctor that specializes in pain management. Contact your nearest huge hospital or even better a teaching hospital and see who they know that deal in pain. That would probably give you the most help. I’m not sure what part of the body that you’re talking about but I’ve had arthritis since age 19 and I’m now 52 so I can relate and it wasn’t until I got a doctor who specialized in arthritis and pain, the doctor gave me a medication that I could take long term with out dread of dependency and it’s worked for me for nearly twenty years. I use naprosyn it works for me but not my mother, for you it may be a matter of being paid to the right pain medicine. I wish you luck.
Let me give one other thing you can try and it doesn’t burn any bridges since there’s nothing invasive about it. Back pain can be due to poor mechanics starting in the foot. You don’t have to have pain in the foot to get back pain. Try a custom orthotic that can be made from your local podiatrist. I’ve heard many people solve their back issues with just a custom arch support. Excellent luck!
