		<description>No - it&#039;s fun and won&#039;t hurt you.  The Old Wives (or Husbands) Tales are based on pleasure.  If something feels good - THEN it just has to be bad for you!!  If something is fun then it&#039;s a sin.

It&#039;s great when you can snapple your bapple like that - although it does tend to drive some people nuts - so you just have to do it when you have company who loves the sound.</description>

I believe that there aren&#039;t any exact correlations to arthritis. BUT you are stretching your tendons to a certain length and could possibly sprain your joint. 

In the end, it is considered harmless. Just try not to over do it. 

Also, I realize that your source is a fitness/trainer type person, but cracking a joint is not an indicator of joint flexibility.</description>
