Well my grandma had that surgery 2 years ago,she bought sweats and baggy clothes because you wont be walking for a while. It will take 2 weeks or three to recover. Some doctors have different apinions ,my grandmas doctor got her a home nurse and ,my grandpa had to make all these things because she could’nt get up to pee so you will need diapers and a leg rottal.

my mother had both total knee replacements. (we call her bionic women now).. they really sawed off the whole knee joint and screwed in a new titanic (excellent metal) knee in place.. weird huh?.. she couldnt walk for a week, then slowly with physical therapy walking with rambler for a couple of weeks, then with a cane. I reckon it took about 3 months to really get healed.. Its been a year and a half and she feels fantastic now.. (she did one knee and the other later after 9 months) .. goodluck! She does a lot of water aerobics now to keep her legs nimble as she says..
