It could be arthritis i am worried to say the only way to find out is to go to a doctor arthritis dos not discriminate on age and there is juvenile arthritis which does affect the young.

It could be, but if you’re not experiencing any puffiness then it’s unlikely.

Arthritis literally means inflammation or fire of the joint. If you have no inflammation, you don’t have arthritis.

The most likely scenario, based on your age is any growing pains or Osgood Schlatters Disease. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osgood%E2%80%93Schlatter_disease).

You should see a doctor because leaving it will make it worse.

As for your Dad, it’s possible, but it’s hard to say. If your member of the clergy has osteoarthritis (from wear and tear of his joints, typical and an ancient person) this would not be related or play any part in what’s going on with you.

    Excellent luck.

There are a lot of things that can cause this type of joint pain, including arthritis. People of any age can develop the disease and factors like previous injuries can increase the risk of arthritis.

Given your symptoms, it certainly sounds like arthritis could be present, but again there are a lot of other factors too that it could be.

At the end of the day, you need to speak to a doctor about your concerns!

Arthritis can not be cured, but it can be kept from being paid worse, so the sooner you diagnose it the better. It could also be something else that needs pressing attention!

While it is rare for someone of your age to have arthritis, it is not impossible. Just like those who have filed a Fosamax lawsuit can tell you injuries and illness can happen although unlikely.
