Gentle exercises and the use of both heat and cold do help.
But you do have to remember them.

There are a few answers to this.
    1) If that medicine upsets your stomach, there are other options available. There are both natural options and drug options for treating arthritis, a number of which don’t upset the stomach.
    2) You’re right… you should do exercises. Mobility helps keep the joints loose and helps a LOT of people with arthritis to improve or at least to not decline. I work with a guy in Tae Kwon Do who has severe arthritis that has increased his flexibility, mobility, and how well he can walk in just a few months of going regularly. Exercise really does help if you stick with it.
    3) If you forget to do the exercises, you could always set an alarm on your watch or cell phone to remind you. Typically, the exercises don’t take very long and you could watch half an hour of TV while you’re doing them.
    4) Yes, there are anti-inflammatory foods that help, many of which are available as supplements as well. Some examples include: Fish Oil (or excellent fish like Salmon) have excellent amounts of anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids; Turmeric (an Indian spice) is also excellent both as a spice and a supplement to help inflammation; and shellfish shells have natural Glucosamine in them, which is fantastic for joints (although the taste and texture isn’t the nicest so it’s generally simplest to get it from a supplement). There are many other supplements as well such as Chondroitin, MSM, Hyaluronic Acid, Microlactin, AvoVida, and cherries in capsule or liquid form (as you mentioned) so there are quite a few options.
    5) Ice and heat can help different pains at different times. You may want to consult with your doctor or Physical Therapist to see when you should best use one or the other, how to prepare the ice wrap, and how long to keep each on (as your size and age can have an impact on how long to keep any on).

I reckon that covers all the questions you questioned. ;-) Excellent luck and I hope I helped!

You can see a natural health professional such as a Homeopath or Naturopath.
Homeopathy can permanently remove the problem.

  • Depth:

Exercise is excellent but only ‘low impact’ – cycling, for example, is very excellent for your knee (in succession is not).

Food can help too, such as anything that lowers inflammation. What worked best for me was homeopathy.

sorry to hear about your shape up.

the medication might be vital. for RA there are 2 types of treatment
    - symtomatic which makes u feel better
    - disease modifying which helps slow down the disease progression

its vital to take the disease modifying ones
