each now and then i wake up with a stiff neck and can’t really go it. It usually lasts for only a day and i’d say tomorrow there will be a bit of pain but i doubt your movement will be affected.

I did the same a month or two ago and it lasted me about 3 days,. by the 4th day I had a modest discomfort when I turned to look over my left shoulder still but it was minor compared to the first 24 hours of pain that I felt.
I would take a hot shower and if you have a massage shower head point it to the spot that hurts and rub it with your hand,..
Ibuprophen helped the pain a lot for me too

The muscle will be sore for a few days at least. I suggest an anti-inflamatory medicine like Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Spend as much time as possible with your head in a comfortable position and make sure it is supported well by pillows or headrest. Cold will numb the pain in the muscle but will not make the muscle relax. I suggest a heating pad. The more you let those muscles rest the better you will feel for your concert tomorrow.

it’s just a stiff neck. i use to get them all the time. ice isn’t going to heal it as well as heat. so get a hot pad, or let hot water hit it in the shower.

it should feel better by tomorrow..oh and make sure you keep up on the advil.
