Aspirin and heat. There are heating pads that you can wear.

It seems to be case of Gout which happens due to increase in uric acid in the blood. You should avoid alcohol, red meat and lentils. For a simple treatment do the following –

Take two teaspoons of Fenugreek seeds and soak in a schooner of water each nighttime. In the morning have the seeds and the water. You can take this for long time without side effects and it will also control diabetes and constipation.

Have you been diagnosed with arthritis? Or do you just have pain? If you’ve been diagnosed, what sort of arthritis?

You need to see a rheumatologist and be under their supervision. They can prescribe you medication to help with the pain and reduce the inflammation. In the mean time, look after your joints, take NSAIDs like iburprofen and apply heat.

Well, the first thing to do would be to go see your doctor and tell him or her about your issues. When it comes to a health issue, doctors are really the only ones who can definitively diagnose an illness. In the mean time though, there are plenty of natural methods you can use to decrease joint pain.

Intake more fruits and vegetables is a excellent start, especially those that control lots of antioxidants like blueberries or pomegranates. Exercising regularly, although it might seem hard because of the pain, helps keep you in better overall shape up. There are even special work outs that are excellent for certain types of joint pains ( I establish a few here: http://www.hipjointpainrelief.com/category/fitness-and-exercise/). You could even consider taking a joint health supplement that contains glucosamine/chondriton/MSM etc.

The source website really has a lot of excellent info, check it out if you like.
