you’re fine like people really get aches when they are sick.

I frequently get back pain during a cold. This could be what is happening. For me, this pain is usually superficial (near the go up) and my back hurts to the touch. Usually they say that muscle aches come with a flu (and the only real way to distinguish the two is that a flu has a fever whereas a cold does not), but I have always gotten them with my colds.

It could also be from plain back pain– sometimes when you have a cold you feel miserable and hunch over. This back pain would be deeper and massage might make it feel better.

Any way, lie down, make sure you have plenty of fluids, and get lots of rest.

The muscles have to be tight to cause that pain and your having been sick recently is probably making matters worse. To get rid of the pain you have to free up your back muscles and here’s how to do that:
    Back:
(do while sitting on a chair)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front, and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm as straight as possible. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, then release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best consequences relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
