Go to Healing Well.com and click on Lyme Disease, there is a person who is regularly answering question on there by the name of ticker, very well informed about it. Did the doctor prescribe two weeks of antibiotics back then in 2008 when he saw the bulls eye rash. The distress with Lyme disease is that the spirochetes can form a barrier around themselves, so that when you get the first antibiotics, they escape being eradicated. You may need another round of the antibiotics. I would also like to question if you have been having any stomach distress?, You know the vagus nerve connects from the spine to the stomach, and if you have an ulcer or the beginning of one, the pain will show up in your back, doctors call this referred pain. You really should see your family doctor, who can find out what the shooting pains are. You know when you tell the doctor you are having pain they always question, is it dull or sharp. Sharp pain is always a warning that something is very incorrect, dull usually means you have pulled something or lifted something without using your legs to lift.
I had pain in the back and finally had an ulcer peforate my stomach and that required pressing surgery to sew up the hole in stomach. Don’t try home remedies, please see your family doctor. Many things can cause back pain, a stone in the kidneys, an ovary that is enlarged, you need a Doctor to find out what this is.

I am not a doctor, but I am 20 I was told I have lyme when I was 14 or 15 I have been showing signs of arthritis as well, I went to a doctor they said I have mild arthritis, they have been treating it with Medications, and pain killers with all of the pain I am in because of the lyme and each thing else incorrect with my health its like a never ending tale, but anyway Excellent luck this probably does not help but I would see a doctor to me it sounds like its just the change in the weather with your problem

It’s possible that your initial treatment for Lyme was not ample. I’d recommend considering Lyme specialist affiliated with ILADS.
