how do you convice people around you…I find it toughest for them to know the pain we are going through…it looks as if we’re just bone idle
hey i hope you feel fantastic now! u made me tear i use to feel the same way USELESS! im now juicing raw vegetables and coming down on sugar and salt absolutely no sodas mcdonalds or burger king no quick foods i am a vegan now and i also juice fruits im on a piece of 5 mg of prednisone and i exercise lightly. gotta keep that blood flowing! pred is so lame! im doing fantastic with minerals and enzymes from juicing please try juicing it helpscheck out david wolfe (beauty through mineralization enzymes
hey man im 16, and i ahve stills deasese and rumatory arthritis. they place me on pretazone (50mg) and i loved it. then they took me off and now i have to take Anakinra. Anakinra is an injection that i ahve to give for myself each single day, its the most painful thing ive felt. more painful then the arthritis. so be lucky your still on some pretazone, and you didnt have arthritis when you were 16. i feel like i wana kill for myself each day. my life fucking sucks. i cant do anything my friends do.
Best thing you can do is avoid this & all pharmaceuticals really. I am taking “colostrum” for 3 days now, 2 level tablespoons daily with water on empty stomach, left nudge STOPPED “crackling” when I flex it this is ONLY thing that ever helped. PREDNISONE ASSASSINATED MY DOG. He went into kidney failure, could not drink water, and this SHIT drove him out of his mind!! He had been on it numerous X over the years but GD vet NEVER warned of CUMULATIVE KIDNEY DAMAGE!!! Huge Pharma is NOT your pal
People on Cytoxan and Prednisone for WG have to be careful about any treatments that increase the activity of their immune system as WG is a disease in which one’s immune system goes into high gear and starts wiping out your organs by killing off the small and medium sized blood vessels.
I’ve been off it for some time (nearly four years), and have been in remission from Wegener’s granulomatosis nearly as long. People have such wide variation in how the disease strikes them, which makes it all the worse. In my case, I was nearly dead when treatment started, yet, once I went through treatment, I had relatively few issues afterwards. I am blessed.
PS Im on 60 mg a day pred and suspicion pretty excellent with low weight gain. Hang in there, being paid off prednisone is where the depression comes in.
I have Wegeners. I have had 4 flairs in 18 years.
On prednisone.
I have had less shaking, lot less weight gain, by cutting out 80% sugars, salt, stout- all the excellent material.- Im not perfect, but I work hard at intake less,
and my wife makes juice out of celery cucumbers, garlic, ginger, beets. 4 times a week. this helps alot with my energy too.

im not familiar with your shape up but i was on prednisone before for another shape up and tried substituting that with homeopathic medication and after a year i felt much healthier overall maybe you can get diagnosed by a homeopathic doctor
im sorry for your pain and well include you in my prayers im taking 30mg for 7 days sinus infections my sinuses feel tingly burning lips feel raw
im on 90mg just had a heart transplnt
im 14 and i take 50 mg. I despise it my face looks huge. And it stink s because im starting high teach this year and its also making my face break out!!!

I take 15mg a day or else it gets so terrible that I can’t talk from 50+ mouth sores. I lift weights to counter the side effects. It is hell in the beginning. I also learn from bodybuilding how to eat right so your sugar level is “controlled” from a excellent diet. It also takes a lot of stress away. It is NO simple task, I promise you , but it works. Maybe you should try it out. Ed
I have been taking prednisone for severe mouth sores. I mean really severe if I don’t take it. I got all your side effects and I know how you feel. I work out everyday in the gym and it does counter it a bit . I am really losing a few pounds and look better over all. It gets you to sleep better too. You have to excercise , even mildly. It is hard but you have to try unless you find a way to stop the prednisone.

I’ve emotionally involved your video to an entry in a Wegener’s granulomatosis support forum as we Weggies deal with doses that start with 80mg a day (typically), a level that, along with an immunosuppressant drug (Cytoxan) we take at the start, is quite a load. Excellent luck with your illness. I know it’s for life, too!

idk prednison makes me feel hot and makes my blood pressure go up. i take it cuz i get poison ivy alot and i take it for only one week and i take 7 pills one day then 5 then 4 then 3 then 2 and then 1
Cut out the nightshades. (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers- these can cause flairups) Try spices like, garlic, turmeric, cumin, ginger. No dairy. Water is excellent. No white flour or processed foods.
I have been trying to work out mine for 8 months. RA Sucks! Each day is a struggle.
how long does it take for your face to go down im doin 20mg now but i was at 40mg.
