They make lower back braces that can be worn under you clothes that can alleviate the pain. You might also consult a chiropractor.

I had the reduction surgery and it helps a lot.

But, if I were you, I would get a 2nd or 3rd opinion.

You should not have to suffer like this. You are not meant to live with constant pain.

    Take care of yourself.

    Excellent Luck.

I’ve always been a sceptic but I had Acupuncture recently and it really helped. It was for a recent ‘injury’ but it might be worth a try.

I’m a guy and have suffered for years with lower back pain. It got so terrible that i couldn’t support my own upper body weight when bending over a bit. I went to a chiropractor for a year and also had xrays. It showed a very slight deterioration of the discs but nothing major. I went to him about each month for three or four months and now i go a couple of times a year and for the most part i’m fantastic. Just a bit stiff in the morning. Try going to a chiropractor. You might find that you just need to stretch more by exercising, but he will be able to tell you and suggest which means of stretching you need to do, if that is part of your treatment.
I don’t know if an orthopedic doctor is the same as a chiropractor. I can recommend a excellent one if you are anywhere near Birmingham.

a breast reduction would not cause that sort of pain, you need to go to
the hospital to get it sorted out, go back to gp and question to be refer ed.

    hi hope this helps
may not be the same but i have lower back pain that is only on the right side, if it hurts to sit, stand and walk for 30 mins or more, then you could have a similar problem to me, which i have been told by my physiotherapist that my bottom and thigh muscles are working harder to compensate for my back muscles not working, which has caused my pelvis to come forward and it to be out of place,

i also had xrays done which didn’t show anything, but was also told that the muscles do not show up on any xray but does not mean you do not have any pain, which was a huge relief as it meant i was not liying about having pain.

i also don’t like taking pain killers but judge me these helped me.
i was given 2 panadol osteo tablets for pain relief, which i take at nighttime. these have helped me so much i can now sleep at nighttime, i would a least try them until you can find a more suitable solution/answer.

i suggest that you find a physiotherapist who you feel comfortable with and that also specialises in the lumbo pelvic region. try going to the pool and going to an aqua or hydrotherapy class or walking or floating on your back to strenghten your muscles without having to hold your own body weight.
excellent luck, hope you feel better soon.
